Obituary

William Joseph "Bill" Woodburn, age 47 of Rose Hill, passed peacefully due to lung cancer Sunday December 6, 2020 at home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born March 12, 1973 in Tacoma Park, MD, son of Fredd and Judy Brown Woodburn.

He is survived by his wife, Diana Upton Woodburn; 7 children, Andrew Lidner, Elizabeth Lidner, Gabriel Lattimer, Alee Woodburn, Erick Woodburn, Will Lattimer, and R D Lattimer; parents, Fredd and Judy Woodburn; a brother, Scott Woodburn and wife Margarett of OH; a sister, Lorrie VanDyne and husband Jack of Wallace; special niece, Courtney Sugg; best friend Phillp and many nieces and nephews.

Just like he dealt with all experiences in life, he managed his illness with strength, grace, and wanted to spend as much time as possible with family. Bill was a faithful member of Riley's Creek Baptist Church. He was also a loyal employee of Lewis nursery and farms. He was a passionate hunter, fisherman, outdoorsman, and a devout patriot to his country. Throughout his life, no matter the good or bad times he always showed love and passion towards his family and friends. With that, those that knew Bill loved him and admired him for his dedication to helping and loving others.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 PM Thursday December 10, 2020 at Riley's Creek Baptist Church. Reverend Mel Barth will officiate.
