On Saturday January 15, 2022 William Edd Jr. of Burgaw passed away peacefully at the age of 75. He was a loving husband and father of five children. Bill Edd was born August 4, 1946 in Sewickley Pennsylvania, to William and Loretta Edd. Bill was a well-known jazz musician who played in the Pittsburgh Symphony. At the time he was the only person to be able to perform a triple tongue on the Trombone. Bill was a family man. He took yearly vacations with his wife and children. He worked hard to support his family as a plant manager and chemist so that his wife could stay home and take care of their kids. Bill had a passion for corvettes, The Pittsburgh Steelers, golfing and jazz music. He was known for his quick wit, big blue eyes and his hardheadedness. Bill graduated from UNCW on May 9 ^th , 2015 with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology.

Bill was preceded in death by his father Bill, mother Loretta, wife Cynthia, grandson Garrison, granddaughter Everly and daughter-in-law Amanda. Bill is survived by his children, Todd, Angela, Bill, Jonathan and Heather and grandchildren, Ben, Conner, Lily, Taylor, Reid, Billy, Joe, Shelby and Brandon.

The family will receive friends at 12:00pm Thursday one hour prior to the service.

Funeral services will be at 1:00pm Thursday January 20, 2022 at Harrell's Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Park Cemetery.
