Thomas Edward Moore Sr., age 83 of Burgaw passed peacefully Thursday November 4, 2021 at Pender Memorial Hospital.

He was born February 24, 1938 in Pender County, son of the late Thomas and Nancy Horrell Moore.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Carolyn Pierce Moore; three sons, Thomas Edward Moore Jr. and wife Rhonda of Bolivia, Mark Irwin Moore of Clinton, and Thomas Kuhn Jr. and wife Amy of MI; two daughters, Terri Lyn Beane of Leland, and Toni Rivenbark and husband Tim of Rocky Point; three grandsons, Aaron Beane, Adam and Scott Moore; three great grandsons, Easton Moore, Ayden Moore and Luke Moore; five sisters; and many nieces and nephews.

Thomas loved to fish. He taught the art of fishing to his sons, grandsons and great grandsons. He loved his family, his grandsons and great grandsons.
