Thomas Jennette Robbins Jr., age 66 of Burgaw, died Sunday April 1, 2012 at home. He was born November 2, 19 45 in Monks Corner SC, son of the late Jane Walter Robbins and Thomas J. Robbins Sr. He was also predeceased by two sisters, Linda Robbins and Izma Robbins.

He is survived by two sons, Thomas J. Robbins III and wife Mandy of Wilmington, and Jarod D. Robbins and wife English of Burgaw; wife, Carolyn Robbins of Burgaw; five grandchildren, Collin, Davis, and Alexis Robbins, Cameron Danford, and Samantha Strawbridge.

Tommy was a decorated veteran of Vietnam having served honorably in the US Army. His service medals include three purple hearts, two bronze stars and a silver star.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday April 5, 2012 at the Burgaw Presbyterian Church. Reverend Frankie Seamster, and Reverend Dr. Ray Mendenhall will officiate. Burial will follow in the Burgaw Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday 6-7:30 PM at Harrell's Funeral Home.
