Thomas Wellington Gray, Age 73 of Burgaw, N.C. went to his favorite fishing hole on August 30, 2024.

He was born in Wilmington, N.C. to Ernie Wellington and Margaret Blanton Gray.
He was preceded in death by both his parents, and his brother, Mervin Gene Gray.

He is survived by his 2 children; his sisters Carolyn Gray Hart(Bill) of Columbia, S.C., and Shirley Gray Vaught(Kenneth) of Burgaw, N.C.; Nephews: Randall Eugene Jones(Jane), James Ernie Jones, and Micheal Gene Carter(Lona);
Nieces:  Sharon Michelle Evans( Sonny) of Burgaw, N.C. and Monica Gray Quasem(Mo) of Columbia, S.C.; 8 great nieces and 1 great nephew; 7 great -great nieces and 3 great-great nephews.

Special Thanks to Sharon Michelle Evans and Monica Gray Quasem who acted as Angels of Mercy to stay by their Uncle Tommy's side  day and night through this transition.

There will be no services. Any donations can be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice Care Center in lieu of flowers.
