Teresa Alward Barnhill, age 64 of Burgaw went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday March 15, 2024 at New Hanover Reg. Med. Center.

She was born June 25, 1959 in Cambridge England, daughter of the late Mervin and Kay Alward.

She is survived by two children, Lynn Shuck and husband Dustin and son, Ryan Barnhill all of Burgaw; grandson, Ellis Shuck; three brothers, Michael Alward, Tracey Mozingo, and Patrick Alward; sister Cindy Poteat; and many nieces and nephews.

Terry loved her horses and animals of all types. She was very passionate about her church and church family. She really enjoyed everyone she worked with at Sears and The Laurels of Pender. She was a hard worker, a bit stubborn and determined when she wanted something done. Terry dearly loved her family.

A celebration of her life will be at 3:00 PM Wednesday March 20, 2024 at Rocky Point Methodist Church. Pastor Thomas Melton will officiate.
