Shawn Parker, 52 of Wallace passed peacefully Monday October 17, 2022 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro, NC.

Shawn was born December 25, 1969 in

NC to Gene Ray and Jacqueline Rackley Parker.

He was  an Electrician by trade and truly loved working in his chosen profession. He was preceded in death by his paternal Grandmother Mary W. Parker and maternal Grandmother Eleanor R. Pierce.

Shawn loved hunting, fishing, kayaking, grilling and anything outdoors.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday October 20, 2022 at 7PM at Oakdale Freewill Baptist Church, Deep Bottom Rd, Wallace, NC, Rev. Frank Moss and Rev. Mike Mobley officiating.

Surviving are his Wife, Windy Douglas Parker, Sons, Jesse Ray Parker of the home and Gabriel Lengkeek of Mt. Olive NC,  and  Grandson, Eli Parker of Mt. Olive, NC.

His parents, Gene Ray and Jacqueline Rackley Parker of Wallace, a sister, Faith Parker Precise (Ricky) of Wallace, Niece Erin Precise, Nephew Parker Precise, Sister in-law Cristi Hamby (Tony) Nieces Kirra Hamby, Bay Hamby, Brother in-law Chuck Douglas and family, along with many cousins, family members and friends.
