Scott Edwards Medcalf, age 51 of Watha, passed peacefully Tuesday March 7, 2023 at Pender Memorial Hospital.

He was born May 5, 1971 in Burlington County NJ son of Diane Coburn and Richard Medcalf Sr.

He is survived by his mother, Diane Coburn and husband Stanley; father, Richard Medcalf Sr. and wife Martha of Middleburg, FL; four children, Heather Medcalf , Alex Medcalf and wife Narrissa, Timothy Maynard and wife Laura, and Alyssa Sholar; four grandchildren, Brantley Medcalf, Kevin Medcalf,  Violet Medcalf , and Eddison Maynard; Brother, Christian Coburn; favorite cousin, Timothy Grotzinger; and fur baby Vader.

He was predeceased by brothers, Richard Medcalf Jr., and Lucius Kidder Coburn.

Scott loved to cook. He enjoyed Marvel and DC movies, comics and memorabilia.  Scott enjoyed working at Fat Daddy's Pizza and serving his customers, and the Burgaw PD and PC Sheriff's Dept. He loved his family, his dog, rock and roll, and enjoyed his downtown friends at Harvey's and China King.
