Ruth Martinez age 50 of Castle Hayne, passed peacefully Sunday June 7, 2020 at NHRMC surrounded by her loving family.

She was born October 22, 1969 in Bay City, TX daughter of Jose O. Martinez and the late Oralia Martinez.

She is survived by in addition to her father,  her daughter, Savanna Dennis; brothers: Ray Martinez, Roy Martinez, Randy Martinez, Rodney Martinez and Rudy Martinez; sisters, Rose Tedder, Rachel Martinez, Ruby Martinez and Roby Martinez; and many nieces and nephews.

Ruth loved to go to races and she enjoyed going on drives to look at the scenery. She was a loving and caring mother. Ruth liked to spend quality time with her family.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday June 9, 2020 at Harrell's Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Texas.
