Rosa Williamson Brown age 57 of Burgaw, passed away Wednesday December 1, 2021 at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare, surrounded by friends and family.

She was born Rosa Mae Williamson on July 28 , 1964 in Pender County, daughter of Evelyn Wood and the late David Williamson. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 34 years, Randy Edworth Brown and a daughter, Rosanna Grace Brown.

Her memories live on through her son, Bradley Randall Brown and wife Marguerite Payton Brown of Rocky Point; a granddaughter Alana Brown; and two half-brothers, Barry Williamson and wife Bree Williamson, and Adam Williamson and wife Connie Williamson; sister, Linda Hill; step mom, Frances Williamson; step brothers, Reggie Peddie and Donnie Peddie and Wife Sue Peddie and Ronnie Peddie; step sister, Edna Peddie; and many special nieces and nephews.

She was also predeceased by brother, Wayne Hill and predeceased by step sister, Veeda Peddie.

Rosa was an entrepreneur and successful business owner; she was well known in the community for her seafood market in Burgaw, NC, Rosa's Country Market. Rosa was a lover of all animals, specifically her love for Chinese Pugs to which she raised many successful litters over the years. Rosa was an avid fisherman and would never turn down a day spent fishing with her family and brother in law Craig Brown. She had a love for fast cars and took great pride in her Dodge Challenger. Rosa will always be remembered as a loving and caring mother who always kept a positive light on any situation. She was always willing to help anyone and did not meet a stranger.

A celebration of life will be held on a later date.
