Douglas Robert Sipple Sr., age 65 of Rocky Point, passed at home Monday April 3, 2023.

He was born  April 10, 1957 in Essex County MA, son of Norma Watkins.

He is survived by in addition to his mother, three children, Bobby Sipple Jr. and wife Lauren of Castle Hayne, Alexis Sipple and Jacob Sipple both of Rocky Point; two stepchildren, Chris Cain, and David Cain and wife Jennifer; Eight grandchildren; a brother, Henry Cowart and wife Michelle of Rocky Point; two sisters, Norma Blanton of Rocky Point, and Sharon Rowe and husband Bob of Richfield; and many nieces and nephews.

Robert loved his family. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends and spending time at the River.

The family will receive friends Friday 6-7 PM at Harrell's Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Saturday April 8, 2023 at Harrell's Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Clay McCauley will officiate.
