Richard D "Rick" Winn age 60 of Rocky Point died Wednesday July 21, 2010 at home. He was born February 26, 1950 in Sharon CT and was raised by foster parents Sara Brownlowe and the late Bill Brownlowe. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving honorably in the US Army. Rick was owner and operator of Winn's Video and Coastal Home Care. He was a past member of the Burgaw Chamber of Commerce and Pender Co. Board of Recreation.
He is survived by in addition to his mother, wife Candace Lyness Winn, two sons, Ryan Winn of Rocky Point, Corey Winn of the home; a brother Ed Gschwandtner of Laurel DE; a sister Donna Blankenship and husband Ralph of Fredrick MD, brothers Chuck Brownlowe and wife Patti of Fredrick MD, Lee Brownlowe and wife Kathy of MD; and many nieces, nephews and close friends.

A memorial service will be at 11:00 am Monday July 26, 2010 at Harrell's Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Dr. Ray Mendenhall will officiate.
