Carolyn Renee Kelley Register, age 49, born July 19, 1973 to Judy Carolyn Glisson and James Wade Kelley, passed peacefully surrounded by her family on December 27, 2022. She was a loving wife to Joel Dale Register and loving mother to Corey Skipper, Collin Skipper and Hunter Register. She was an especially loving NaNa to Elias Stone Skipper the center of her world. She was proceeded in death by both her parent and Uncles George Kelley and Gene Glisson, paternal grandparent Clifton and Mae Kelley and maternal Grandfather Rev. Charles Glisson. She is survived by her Grannie Glisson (Vivian Glisson), sister Michelle Karwoski, nephew Hunter Karwoski, and nieces Mackenzie Register and Haleigh Sotelo, Aunts Diane Gainey, Theresa Kelley and Uncle Joseph Glisson and spouse, In laws Patricia Register and Dale Register, Jennifer Sotelo and spouse and lifelong best friends Tonya Thompson and Tracy Wilson. She was blessed with many cousins and friends that she considered family.

Renee's heart was as big as her personality, and she loved her family and friends fiercely and completely. She always had a supportive word and a helping hand for those who needed her. She loved listening to her music all the time as well as singing to you to express how much she loved you or was feeling. She was well known for her many classic catch phrase, with her favorite and ours "I love you long time". If she could be outside working in the yard or just enjoying the sunshine she was her happiest. She will leave a hole in the life of everyone she touched, but no more than the ones who loved her the most.

A celebration of life will be held for family and immediate friends only, on Monday January 2, 2023 at 1 PM at Shiloh Baptist Church 19685 US-421 Willard, NC. Reverend Gardner Eakins will officiate. In lieu of flowers family request that donations be made in her name to Lower Cape Fear LifeCare.
