Paul Edward Worrell Sr., age 73 of Burgaw passed peacefully at home Monday November 18, 2024.

He was born July 12, 1951 in Pender County son of the late James and Mary Bernice Worrell. He was also predeceased by his brother, Linwood Worrell and sister Jo Ann Worrell.

He is survived by his children, Paul E. Worrell Jr. and Victoria W. Gilleo and husband David all of SC; grandchildren, Della Worrell, Joseph Gilleo, Solomon Gilleo, Joshua Worrell, and Ashlie East; great grandchildren, Kayden Foil, Zane Worrell, Tommy Turner, Elija Franzone, Gracey Phillips, Hunter Phillips, and Riley Morris;   sister Mary Riddle and husband Richard; and aunt, Pearlene Wells.

Paul was a very accomplished guitar player. He was a great teacher and taught many people how to play guitar. Paul studied martial arts when he was younger.

The family will receive friends Sunday 1-2:00PM one hour before the service at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Sunday November 24, 2024 at Harrell's Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pike Creek Cemetery.
