Patricia "Patsy" Bond Geddes passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on March 17, 2022.

Patsy was born December 2, 1942  in Wilmington, NC , to the late Edna Harris Bond and Norman Walter Bond.

Patsy graduated from New Hanover High School and Miller Motte Business College.  Following graduation, she married her high school sweetheart, Roger "Mike" Geddes. They were married 61 years.

While Patsy and Mike raised their family, Pasty worked outside the home and was the administrator of the Pender County ABC Board for many years until her retirement in 2002.  Patsy was an active and devoted member of Burgaw Baptist Church where she was their pianist for 30 years.

Patsy was blessed with many talents.  She learned to play the piano beautifully after only taking lessons for a few months.  She was also a self- taught artist and painted many children's portraits during her retirement.   Patsy had many interests and hobbies including playing bridge in many bridge clubs throughout her adult life.  She also enjoyed flower gardening, sewing, cooking, baking wedding cakes and crafting.  Nothing gave her greater joy than creating gifts for her family and friends.

Patsy is survived by her husband Roger, son Jeff Geddes (Debbie), daughter Jennifer Hawfield (Mason), son Jon Geddes (Kim), and daughter Janeen Garner (Robbie).  Known affectionately as "Bop" she was adored by her 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, March 20 ^th 2022 at 3:00 pm at Jordan's Chapel United Methodist Church, Burgaw, NC. Reverend Danny Justice will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Patsy's memory to Matthew 25 Center, 1196 Penderlea Hwy, Burgaw, NC 28425 or Lower Cape Fear LIfeCare, 1414 Physicians Drive, Wimington, NC 28401 or to a charity of your choice.
