Milton Chadwick age 95 of Burgaw, died Saturday September 22, 2012 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

He was born December 4, 1916 in Pender County son of the late Mont Julius and Mamie Parker Chadwick. He was also predeceased by two brothers, Elbert Chadwick and Burton Chadwick; and two sisters, Louise Williams and Laniedell Meeks.

He is survived by his wife of 69 Years Edna Ramsey Chadwick; a son Milton E. "Bud" Chadwick and wife Linda of Wilmington; and daughter Sherry Chadwick of Wilmington.

Milton was a long time member and Deacon at Friendly Community Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, being married to his wife for over 69 years, and a caring father. He loved gardening and working in his yard.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday September 26, 2012 at Friendly Community Baptist Church. Reverend Nathan Morton and Reverend Elbert Bradshaw will officiate. Burial will follow in the Burgaw Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday 6-7:00 PM at Harrell's Funeral Home.
