Dianna Michelle Cross Carter, age 49 of Wallace, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday November 18, 2020 at Atrium Health Union.

She was born July 1, 1971 in Washington DC, daughter of Sharon Mousmoules Cross.

She is survived by in addition to her mother, two daughters, Alyssa Carter and Alana Buie both of Wallace; son, Kelvin Carter of Wilmington; three grandchildren, Amari and Sasha Best and Silisa Rivera; favorite cousins, Brittinay Baranowski, Jenna Baranowski, John Mousmoules and Lisa Marie Young; and many other family and friends.

Micki served honorably in the United States Navy. She was very loving and caring and never met a stranger. She was educated and witty. Micki took a lot of pride in being a mother and Mimi, and watching her kids and others play sports. She was the backbone and glue of the family. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

The family will receive friends Sunday 6:30- 7:30pm at Harrell's Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be at 1:00pm Monday November 23, 2020 at Harrell's Funeral Home Chapel. Private burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Park.
