Marshalleen Mintz Williams, age 80 of Burgaw passed peacefully Wednesday January 7, 2026 at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born October 2, 1945 in New Hanover County daughter of the late Marshall and Aveis Brehmer Mintz. She was also predeceased by her husband, Marlon Williams.

She is survived by her son, Bart Williams and wife Marsha of Burgaw; daughter, Melissa Monroe and husband Joe of Castle Hayne; 9 grandchildren, Jessica, Kristi, Stacy, Lori, Michael, Daniel, Brandon, Bart Jr. and Nathan; 6 great grandchildren, Jocelyn, Adryen, Jayden, Noah, Zayne, and Daniel Jr.; 2 brothers, Richard and Mark Mintz; 4 sisters, Addie Blackman and husband Duke, Alease Balance and husband Dennis, Lois Mintz, and Nina Johnson and husband Brian; and many nieces and nephews.

Marsha loved her family and dearly loved to dote on her grandchildren. She enjoyed making baby dolls later in life.

The family will receive friends 6-7:00 PM Friday at Harrell's Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 12:00 PM Saturday January 10, 2026 at Harrell's Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Mintz Family Cemetery in Delco.
