Margaret Louise Brown Moore, age 75 of Burgaw, passed peacefully Tuesday March 21, 2023 at New Hanover Reg. Med. Center.

She was born march 27, 1947 in Pender County, daughter of the late James and Margaret Howard Brown. She was also predeceased by, nephew Darren Casteen, brother, Richard Brown, sister Betty Casteen, brother in law, Robert Wells and special niece Jacklyn "Jackie" Wells McClain.

She is survived by her sister, Julia Ann Brown Wells, brother in law James "Jimmy" Casteen and many other nieces and nephews including special great niece Kelsey Wood (Dakota) and great nephew, Jason McClain; and special canine friend Rocky.

Margaret enjoyed the mountains and working at the jobs she held when she was healthy. She dearly loved her many dogs over the years. She was a very outgoing person.

A memorial service will be at 3:00 PM Saturday March 25, 2023 at Harrell's Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Barry Wells will officiate.
