LYNWOOD CLARK BRADSHAW, 89, of Burgaw, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2014.


Mr. Bradshaw was a lifelong resident of Burgaw. He was born November 27, 1924 in Pender County, the son of the late TJ and Mary Bradshaw.
He was a graduate of Burgaw High School and served in the US Army in World War II. Mr. Bradshaw was retired from Carlisle Poultry & Egg. He was predeceased by his brother Grafton Bradshaw.


Mr. Bradshaw was a lifelong member of Burgaw Presbyterian Church and served as an Elder. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Maryce Justice Bradshaw. Other survivors include his daughter, Susan Pruitt ( Bob ) of St George Island, FL; two grandchildren, Cassandra Pruitt of Winston Salem, NC and Lee Pruitt ( Rachael ) of Tampa, FL; one great grand daughter, Gianna Elizabeth Pruitt, also of Tampa, FL; nephews, Tommy Bradshaw ( Cathy ) of Burgaw, Stephen Justice and Craig Justice ; and two nieces, Tonya Brown ( Craig ) of Burgaw and Sabra Davis( Scott ) of Wilmington, NC.


Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Burgaw Cemetery at 1:00 pm, interment following. Reverend Dr. Ray Mendenhall will officiate. Military honors will be accorded by the United States Army.
