Lindsey Ann Owen Vick age 57, of Burgaw and Topsail Beach, died suddenly at home on Saturday June 18, 2011.She was born May 29, 1954 in Durham County daughter of the late George Frank Owen MD and Betty Jane Taylor Owen.

Lindsey graduated from Wallace RoseHill High School and attended Pembroke University. She loved God's world and was environmentally sensitive to its needs. It was her joy to serve in fulfilling the needs of others when she had the opportunity.

Surviving are her husband, Thomas Robert Vick III; sisters, Susan Rutherford and husband Bill of Grand Rapids MI, Jane MacDonald and husband Steve of Jacksonville FL; Brother-in-law Michael Rouse Vick of Burgaw; and many Friends.

A memorial service will be Monday June 20, 2011 at 5:00 PM at Burgaw United Methodist Church. Reverend Laura Mitchell will officiate.
The family will receive friends at 4:00 PM Monday, one hour prior to the service, in the church fellowship hall.
