Linda Carol Vause Cianciolo, age 81 of Burgaw passed peacefully Saturday May 24, 2025 at North Chase Nursing and Rehab.

She was born January 10, 1944 in Bladen County daughter of the late Carol "Pat" Vause Schrempf.

She is survived by two sons Jim Smith and wife Starr of New London, NC and John Smith and wife Faye of Burgaw; granddaughter, Brittany LaFontaine and husband Mike; great grandchildren, Ella and Hudson LaFontaine; three sisters, Cathy Schrempf, Joanne Boesch and husband Bobby, and Susie Feener; and sister-n-law, Jeannie Vause.

She was predeceased by her husband Joe Cianciolo, brother, Kenny Vause, and grandparents, Johnny and Mina Vause and stepfather, Joseph Schrempf.

Linda was married to the love of her life Joe Cianciolo for forty years until his passing. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Linda lived a life centered around family, church, and care for those she loved. She never met a stranger, loved to sing, and enjoyed singing in the Burgaw Baptist Church choir where she was a member. She was also a member of the Burgaw Lions Club. Linda will be remembered for her warm heart and the love she gave so freely to those around her.

A memorial service will be at 4:00 PM Sunday June 1, 2025 at Burgaw Baptist church. Reverend Danny Justice will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour before the service in the church fellowship hall.
