Julia Meszes Ulhry, age 98 of Holly Ridge, passed peacefully Sunday December 20, 2020 at Woodbury Wellness in Hampstead.

She was born December 16, 1922 in Lynchburg KY, daughter of the late John and Julia Meszes.

She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Annie Meszes and Helen Meszes both of Hampstead; nieces, Gloria McKinley of Stella, Linda Strange and husband Jim of Wilmington, and Pat Purdes and husband Roger of FL; nephew, David Dolecki and wife Patti of MN; great nephew, Justin McKinley of Holly Ridge; and many other nieces and nephews.

Julia was owner and operator of Toot and Tell restaurant on Hwy 50 in Holly Ridge. She was an avid Bingo player.

Graveside funeral services will be Wednesday December 30, 2020 at St. Helena Cemetery. Because of Covid this will be limited to family.
