Judith "Judy" Ann Dietrich Rocky Point NC, age 73 died on September 6, 2014 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Center. Judy fought a long courageous battle with cancer.
Judy was born on May 8, 1941 in Manhattan New York. She later moved to Yonkers, where she spent the next thirty years. On July 2, 1960 she married her childhood sweetheart Robert E Dietrich, who survives at home.

She is also survived by her devoted children Beth A Gilmartin and husband Timothy of Hopewell Junction, NY and Robert Dietrich and wife Lily of San Antonio, Texas, her sister and brother in law Carolee and Russell Fischer as well as her loving grandchildren, Lauren Gilmartin, Danielle Gilmartin-Still her husband Jeff, Robert and Jessica Dietrich and many nieces and nephews.

Judy was wise, generous, beloved and a great friend. An avid animal love, shopper and enjoyed planting in her garden up until her final days. She was an excellent cook and over the years she prepared many delicious meals for her family. A devoted wife, mother, sister to Carolee, grandmother and Nanny to Danielle and Lauren she will be forever missed by all that knew her.

Funeral services will be Monday September 8, 2014 at 7:00 pm at Harrell's Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Dr. Ray Mendenhall will officiate.

The family will receive friends at 6:00 pm one hour prior to the service at Harrell's Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held in Hopewell Junction, New York at a date to be announced at the discretion of the family.
