Joseph Nick Kentrolis Jr., age 66 of Currie, died Tuesday November 27, 2012 at home.

He was born February 4, 1946 in Richmond VA, son of the late Joseph Nick Kentrolis Sr. and Pauline Carroll Clewis. He was also predeceased by a brother Charles Edward Kentrolis.

Junior was well known in the community as the local produce man. He learned the business from his father who sold produce in the area for many years. He was a loving and kind man who loved Christmas time. He had been battling lung Cancer for several years.

He is survived by a brother Roy Lee Kentrolis of Currie; a sister, Joann K. Ellis (Morris) of Aiken SC; a niece and many nephews

Funeral services will be Saturday December 1, 2012 at 3:00PM at Harrell's Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Wayne Bateman will officiate. Burial will follow in the Burgaw Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1-3:00 PM before the service at the funeral home.
