Joseph Anthony Cianciolo Sr., age 78 of Burgaw, passed from this earthly life Friday September 28, 2018 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice.

He was born December 2, 1939 in Detroit, MI son of the late Domenic and Margaret Cianciolo.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Vause Cianciolo; a son, Joseph Cianciolo Jr., a daughter Donna Marie Catalina; two step sons, Jim Smith and John Smith; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three sisters, Margie Esposito, Lucile Belmere and Victoria Corti; and three nephews.

A memorial service will be at 11:00am Wednesday October 17, 2018 at the Burgaw Baptist Church. Reverend Bill Smith, Reverend Tom Canady and Reverend Nathen Morton will officiate.

The family will receive friends at 10:00 AM (one hour prior to the service) in the church fellowship hall.
