Jonathan Lee Glisson, age 31 of Watha, passed away Friday, December 31, 2021 from an ATV accident. Jonathan was born on July 22, 1990 in Wilmington, North Carolina and was a son of the late Angela Lynch Glisson and brother Brandon Scott Glisson.

Jonathan is survived by his father, Bryon Scott Glisson; girlfriend of 13 years, Sarah Ashley Dorman; grandfather Wendell Edward Lynch; grandmother Mary Rose Glisson; aunt Becky Lynch Ward and her husband William Edward Ward, their kids Christopher Matthews Ward and Allison Diana Ward; sister Morgan Olivia Glisson and her children Hayden Taylor and Payton Olivia; brother Bryon Scott Glisson Jr. "Boogie Man".

Jonathan who was a jack of all trades from a very young age could have excelled in any occupation, but decided to follow his dream of becoming an owner in the HVAC Industry. Jonathan started his own business in 2020, Red's Heating & Air Conditioning. Jonathan was self-driven and ambitious for the success of his business, customers, family and friends.

When Jonathan was not out saving the world (working or helping others) he enjoyed stuffing his face with aunt Becky's homemade goodies and adventuring with his girlfriend Sarah and brother Boogie Man. Jonathan found peace exploring outdoors where he enjoyed kayaking, fishing, hunting, and creature seeking. Jonathan was a lover of all animals, especially his cat "Little". Jonathan recently put a down payment on a Red Heeler pup "John's son" pronounced "Johnson", who will be the new addition to our family.

Jonathan had such a positive energy that so many desired to have, such a jokester, so loveable and was one of a kind. He will be missed dearly.

Visitation will be held at Harrell's Funeral Home in Burgaw this Thursday 1/6/2022 between the hours of 6:00 – 7:30 pm.

Funeral Service will be held at Harrell's Funeral Home Chapel @ 1:00 pm Friday January 7, 2022, following we will be laying Jonathan to rest with his brother alongside his mother at Hopewell Presbyterian church Cemetery.
