Johanna Noetzel Lyons, age 95 of Burgaw passed peacefully Sunday March 8, 2026 at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare surrounded by her loving family.

She was born March 23, 1930 in Danzig Germany daughter of the late August and Elizabeth Noetzel.

She is survived by four sons, Harry Lyons and wife Judy, Steven Lyons, Ronnie Lyons and wife Kathy, and Richard Lyons; daughter, Shirley Nelson and husband Tracy; twelve grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.

A graveside service and burial will be Tuesday March 17, 2026 at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery in Fort Mitchell Alabama.
