Jesse Herbert Jones age 66 of Wallace, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday May 8, 2017 in Las Vegas NV.

He was born May 22, 1950 in the Penderlea community of Willard, son of the late Riley Victor and Margie Johnson Jones and had eleven brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife Cathy Brown Jones; two sons, Travis Jones of TX and Brad Jones of NV; two grandchildren Alana and Lil'Jessie; and two sisters, Jeannie Boone and husband Sammy of Teachey and Susie Jones of Wallace.

Jesse served honorably in the US Army. After service he married his wife Cathy on June 22, 1972. He received a two year degree in Animal health, Poultry and Livestock and an associate business degree at James Sprunt Community College. Jesse loved working with livestock and enjoyed his job of forty years as a hatchery and poultry manager. He dearly loved fishing with his family. The past five years of his life has been spent giving his life to the Lord and loving every minute of it.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Monday May 15, 2017 at Corinth Baptist Church in Rose Hill. Reverend Phillip Eakins will officiate. Burial will follow in Potts Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 1:00PM at the church.
