Jeffery Shawn Brock, born to James H. Brock III and Faye O. Brock on Friday March 29, 1991 made his grand entrance into eternal life with his Lord and Savior on Thursday June 24, 2021. Jeffery was a lifelong member of Miracle Rock Ministries. He was loved by its founding Pastor and his first of several spiritual mothers Annie George. She and Jeffery shared a very special relationship. He was always readily available for anything she would need of him. Jeffery attended and graduated new Hanover High School. Kayla Bair was his high school sweetie. Jeffery attended UNC Pembroke. He excelled at art but he loved history. He was a very funny man and loved making people laugh. He especially liked imitating Jim Carrey and the water boy. As an adult, Jeffery worked in construction and painting. He was a man who loved his family, always willing to go above and beyond for any of them. The sunset of his live was preceded in death by grandmother, Irene Brock; grandfather, Haskel Chasteen Sr.; Aunt, Sarah Chasteen; cousins, Tyler and Isaac Chasteen, and his first spiritual mother Annie George.

In addition to his parents, James and Faye, he left behind his brother and sister in law Eric and Brittany Brock; grandfather, James H. Brock Sr.; grandmother, Faye Keziah; uncles and aunts, Haskel Chasteen Jr. and wife Wendy, Jamie McDuffie and wife Angel, Roscoe Brock and Teresa Chasteen; cousins, Daniel Alter, Amber and Joey Simmons, Jessica and Tam Beatty, Liba, Mary, Joe, Tanner, Callie, D'Aldo, and Sianna; great aunts, Barbara, Betty, and Pat; spiritual mothers, Jennifer Kostal and "Mama" Powers; baby cousins, Mikaila, Kahmayah, Alayah, Lilli, and Malani. Jeffery is at peace with his Heavenly Father and will forever be missed on this earth.

A memorial service will be at 11:00 AM Sunday July 4, 2021 at Miracle Rock Ministries in Wilmington. Pastor Alneeta Stanley will conduct the service.
