Jan Dubois Jordan age 57 of Wilmington, passed peacefully Sunday August 8, 2021 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

She was born October 28, 1963 in Shreveport LA, daughter of the late Jeff and Margaret McMillan Dubois. She was also predeceased by her brother, Ronald J. Dubois, brother in laws, Ed Bedford and Harry Free, and nephew Dustin Bray.

She is survived by her husband, Jesse Jordan; three children, Alicia Merritt and husband Josh of Jamestown, Elizabeth Jordan and Patrick Piner of Wilmington, and Jessie Anna Jordan of Wilmington; three grandchildren, Simone Merritt, Johanna Merritt, and Rylie Shaw; brothers and sisters, Ernie and Lynn Dubois, Marcelle Dubois, Mary and Fred Hughes, Joyce Free and Scotty Clark, Dottie Bedford, Diane Dubois and Pat McCurrin, Beverly Prince, Don Dubois, and Dan and Amy Dubois; and many nieces and nephews.

Jan enjoyed working in the construction business with her husband. She really loved her family, husband, children and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking and using her mother's recipes. Jan loved horseback riding as a child, but most of all she loved being Maw Maw to her grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the family home 6206 Stag Park Rd. Burgaw.

Graveside services will be at 2:00PM Sunday August 15, 2021 at Jordan Family Cemetery. Pastor Billy Moore will officiate.
