James Ray Lewis, age 42 of Castle Hayne, died June 23, 2023.

He was born November 10, 1980 in Bay City, TX son of Rose Tedder and the late James Ray Tedder.

He is survived by in addition to his mother, five children, Jordan Lewis, Austin Lewis, Michael Lewis, Chase Lewis, and Devin Lewis; a brother, Michael Lewis of TX; a sister Tiffany Tedder and husband Brian Butler of Rocky Point; and many nieces and nephews.

James loved to play basketball. He enjoyed working and loved his family.
