James David Hoffman age 58 of Rocky Point, passed peacefully Friday October 22, 2021 at Lower Cape Fear Life Care surrounded by his loving family.

He was born July 4, 1963 in Wayne County, son of the late Alfred and Evelyn Walkup Hoffman. He was also predeceased by a daughter, Fallon Hoffman.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Rhonda Norris Hoffman; son, James M. Hoffman and wife Kayla of Rocky Point; a granddaughter, Kian Lawson; a sister, Rosalind Cooper of Wilmington; many nieces and nephews; brother in law, Bobby Norris and wife Gina of Rocky Point; and special family member Roxy.

James enjoyed working in the yard and playing golf. James loved his family and enjoyed joking with them and other people. He liked to fish and hang out by the pool.

A memorial service will be at 1:00 PM Saturday October 30, 2021 at Harrell's Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home.
