Walter Grant "Squeaky" Brown, age 26 of Rocky Point left this earthly life Thursday August 2, 2018.He was born July 25, 1992 in New Hanover County.

He is survived by his Fiancée, Angela Edwards and daughter Isabella Brown of the home; his Meme and Pappie, Kathy and Buck Rector of Rocky Point; sisters and brothers, Michelle Braxton of Rocky Point, Archor Millis (April) of Hampstead, Dean Brown (Jenna) of Rocky Point, William Brown (Mary) of Albany OR, Dawn Brown of Albany OR, Regina Brewington of Rocky Point, Buddy Brown (Karen), Grabreille Brown of Burgaw, Jessica Jenness of Rocky Point and Jackie Greene (Jeremy) of Burgaw; many nieces and nephews; special friends Pem and Janeane Bricker and daughter Jennifer and Danny and Stephanie Craver.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, John and Margaret Lewis.

Grant was a roofer and loved building and working with his hands. He loved being outdoors in nature. He enjoyed fishing, mud racing and spending time with his family, especially his daughter Bella who stole his heart when she came into this world. You often would find him out in the yard with everyone's kids playing. He would have more fun than even they did. His friends and family could rely on him to come running if they needed someone to work on their cars or build a garage or haul off something. His laugh and his one of a kind personality will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

A memorial service will be at 11:00 AM Friday August 10, 2018 at Harrell's Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Dean Brown will officiate.

The family will receive friends Thursday 7-8:00 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be given to the family.
