Glenda Faye Jordan Meadows, age 87 of Jacksonville passed peacefully at home June 10, 2026. She was born April 24, 1939 in New Hanover County daughter of the late Harry and Louise Jordan.

She is survived by two sons, Michael Meadows and wife Cindy of Jacksonville and John Meadows and wife Crystal of Hubert; daughter, Donna Banks and husband Steve of Jacksonville; eleven grandchildren, Jeremy (Shelly), Krystal, Ian, Alec (Angel), Ashton, Nichole, Cory (Maggie), Sylvia, Taylor, Craig (Ashley), Emarie (Owen); sixteen great grandchildren, two brothers, Eugene Jordan of Burgaw and Graham Jordan (Becky) of Rocky Point; and sister, Carol Jordan of Burgaw.

She was predeceased by her husband, Lewis R. Meadows; daughter, Pam Ramsey; and grandson, Kyle Meadows.

Faye was a member of the Eastern Star. Her happy place was at the beach. Faye loved dancing and enjoyed dancing to beach music which she taught her brothers to do at an early age. She was full of life and enjoyed singing karaoke. Faye dearly loved her children and grandchildren, and her greatest joy was being Mama Faye to all her family.

The family will receive friends Saturday at 10:00 AM and funeral services will follow at 11:00AM Saturday June 13, 2026 at Jordan's Chapel Methodist Church. Pastor Darren Poe will officiate and burial will follow in Lanier Meadows Cemetery in Maple Hill.

In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Jordan's Chapel Methodist Church.
