Gerald A. Mumma, age 69 of Burgaw, died Wednesday June 9, 2010 at Pender Memorial Hospital. He was born May 27, 1941 in Reading PA son of the late Effinger and Agnes Buniski Mumma. He was also predeceased by his adoptive parents Anna and Joseph Buniski and a sister Anna Lapinski.
Mr. Mumma was retired from AT&T, and an avid fisherman throughout his life. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force
He is survived by his wife of 35 years Louise Eisenhauer of the home; two brothers, Robert Mumma and wife Cheryl of Reading PA, Richard Mumma of Los Angeles CA; a sister Janet Imes and husband Richard of Fleetwood PA; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass of Christian burial will be held Monday June 14, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Saint Stanislaus Catholic Church, Castle Hayne. Reverend Father Ryszard Kolodziej will officiate.
The family will receive friends Sunday 5-6:00 PM at Harrell's Funeral Home.
