Geneva Sellers 'Cricket' Spencer's Obituary
Geneva Sellers "Cricket" Spencer age 87 died Wednesday January 14, 2015 at Carillon Assisted Living in Southport.
She was born April 9, 1927 in Columbus County daughter of the late Pearson and Mary Norris Sellers.
She is survived by four grandchildren, Bryon Prevatte and wife Laura, April Prevatte Caine and husband Elvis, Gregory Prevatte and wife K-leigh, Kenny Prevatte and wife Tamera; nine great-grandchildren; a sister Irene Godwin; many nieces and nephews; a good friend Sandy Mammay; and family from Carillon Assisted Living in Southport.
Cricket was in the Hurricanes Bowling League and traveled extensively with the league. She was an amazing woman of Faith and taught Sunday School for over 25 years.
Funeral services will be at 11:00am Saturday January 17, 2015 at Harrell's Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend David Mammay will officiate. Burial will follow in the Potts Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Memorial Celebration 2-4pm Sunday 1/18/15 at Carillon Assisted Living in Southport.
