Frank Blackmon Jr., age 80 of Wallace passed peacefully at home Wednesday February 2, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.

He was born August 29, 1941 in Johnston County son of the late Frank and Bessie Blackmon.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Bonnie Parnell Blackmon; two sons, Frankie Blackmon and wife Lindsey, and Braxton Blackmon and wife Sheri all of Wallace; three grandchildren, Roxie Blackmon, Brynlea Blackmon, and Ellee Blackmon; three brothers, Ronnie Blackmon and wife Teresa, Marshall Blackmon and wife Sue, and Danny Blackmon and wife Betty all of Smithfield; sister Lorraine King of Smithfield; and many nieces and nephews.

Frank was a good man that worked hard all his life. He was a quiet person and many people thought very highly of him. Frank was loved by his family and will be dearly missed.
