Francisco Armando Pena, age 72 of Atkinson, passed peacefully Saturday March 18, 2023 at Lower Cape Fear Life Care.

He was born September 14, 1950 in Havana Cuba son of the late Armando and Belen Pena.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mayra Pena; three children, Armando Pena and wife Kimberly of Wilmington, Gabriel Pena of Leland, and Rossie Pena of Sevierville, TN; eleven grandchildren; three great granddaughters, and many nieces and nephews.

Francisco served honorably in the United States Army. He loved to fish and work on vintage cars. He was a very giving person and a mechanic by trade. He was the best husband and father that anyone could want.

A gathering of family and friends will be announced at a later date.
