Obituary

Faye D. Keziah, born September 16, 1948 to the late Payne and Velma Keziah peacefully stepped into her eternal life January 24, 2022. Faye dedicated her life to Jesus in 1980 and lived the rest of her life accordingly. Faye worked in childcare and she loved all her babies. Faye was very comical. She loved making others laugh. Faye love to cook and made the best fried chicken and homemade biscuits anywhere. Faye had four children, nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren, two sisters, two brothers and a host of nieces and nephews. Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Haskel Chasteen Sr., her brothers, Joe and Ray Keziah, her daughter, Sarah Chasteen, three grandsons, Jeffery Brock, Tyler Chasteen, and Isaac Chasteen. Left to carry on her legacy are her children, Teresa Chasteen, Faye Brock and husband James, Leebo Chasteen and wife Wendy, her grandchildren, Daniel Alter, Amber Simmons(Joey), Jessica Beatty(Tam), Eric Brock(Brittany), Liba Chasteen, Kelly-Jo Fraley; sisters, Betty Rippy, and Pat Keziah; Her great grands, Mikaila Simmons, Lillian Simmons, Kahmayah Beatty, Aalayah Beatty, Malai Beatty, and Aiden Alter.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday January 27, 2022 at Harrell's Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Willa Jerideau will officiate and burial will follow in Potts Memorial Church Cemetery.
