Ervin Douglas "Doug" DeBose age 62 of Atkinson passed peacefully Tuesday April 20, 2021 at home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born October 12, 1958 in Pender County, son of the late Linwood and Edna Eakins DeBose. He was also predeceased by two brothers, Len and Craig DeBose.

He is survived by his son, Jason DeBose and wife Gerri of Rose Hill; daughter, Laura Beth Jones and husband Steven of Rose Hill; five grandchildren, Haley, Wesley, Bradley, Rachel, and Dominic; brother, Cliff DeBose and wife Linda of Willard; sister, Faye Lee and husband, Charles of Willard; and many nieces and nephews.

Doug was loved by many.

The family would like to thank Heather Treece and the staff of Lower Cape Fear Life Care for their loving care.

A memorial service will be at 4:00pm Sunday May 2, 2021 Eakins Cemetery.
