Elisabeth Evelyne Charboneau Housand, age 65 of Burgaw, passed peacefully Sunday May 2, 2021 at her daughters house in Fayetteville after a lengthy illness.

She was born April 13, 1956 in Germany, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Charboneau.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Ray Housand; three sons, Jesse Thompson and wife Bambie of Joshua TX, Christopher Housand of Port Fort FL, and Chaz Housand of Burgaw; daughter, Sarah Sanders of Fayetteville; four grandchildren Dawson Housand, LaiaLona Sanders, Allison Thompson, Christian LaFrance; and two sisters, Cindy Charboneau of Surf City, and Diane Charboneau of KS.

Elisabeth was a lead singer in a band for many years. She loved to sing and was an avid guitarist. She enjoyed growing flowers and gardening. Elisabeth truly loved her family and was loved by many friends.
