Douglas Martin "Doug" Carver, age 63 of Rocky Point, passed peacefully Friday June 19, 2020 at New Hanover Reg. Med. Center surrounded by his loving family.

He was born July 29, 1956 in Chemung, NY, son of the late George Robert and Margaret Fowler Carver. He was also predeceased by a son, Ross Carver.

He is survived by his loving wife of eighteen years, Jessica Whisnant Carver; four children, Robert Carver and wife Cassandra, Dalton Carver, Annie Inman, and Jordan Carver; three grandchildren, Andrew, Sarah and William; three brothers, David Carver of Cerro Gordo, Michael Carver of Castle Hayne, Steve Carver and wife Janice of Wilmington; two sisters, Nancy Carver and husband Bud of Castle Hayne, and Janice Jensen and husband Derf of Wilmington; and many nieces and nephews.

Doug loved his family and he was deeply loved by his wife with all her heart.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 PM Saturday June 27, 2020 at Harrell's Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend David Carver will conduct the service. We will observe social distancing due to covid restrictions.
