Doris Mae Magee Oddo age 87 of Vero Beach Florida, and formerly of Burgaw, passed away Saturday June 30, 2018 in Hospice care in Florida.

Doris was born November 8, 1930 in Wakefield, VA daughter of the late Richard and Eva Clark Magee.

She is survived by daughters Cynthia Thames- Smith (Norman Hamilton ) of Vero Beach, FL and Pamela Vukich (David Sarnoskie) of Monongiahlla, PA; grandchildren, Candance, Michael, Kim, Thomas and Shelby; four great grandchildren; sisters, Kathaleen Laine of Ashville and Frances Byreen of Waverly, VA; numerous nieces and nephews, and a Brother-in-Law, Charlie P. Thames.   She was preceded in death by her Husband, Homer Clayton Thames, their son, Homer Jr. and grandson, Sean McCaulet, and her husband, Slavadore Oddo.
Mrs. Oddo was a former resident of Burgaw, where she was a Registered Nurse at Pender Memorial Hospital. She also worked in nursing in FL and VA

Funeral services will be at 2:30 pm Tuesday July 10, 2018 at Harrell's Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Park Cemetery.
