Donna Rae Blanford, age 57 of Atkinson, passed peacefully at home Friday September 6, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born September 23, 1961 in Nash County, daughter of the late Clarence M. Blanford and Julia Johnson Blanford.

She is survived by three brothers, Kim Blanford and wife Andrea of Watha, Richard Blanford of Holden Beach, and Kelly Blanford of Charleston SC; sister, Linda B. Jones; and many nieces and nephews.

Donna loved to fish and she enjoyed working. Everyone that knew her thought of her as an exceptionally good friend. Donna loved the outdoors and was quick to offer help to anyone that needed it.
