Debra Kaye Watson, age 69 of Burgaw passed peacefully Friday November 28, 2025 at Novant New Hanover Reg. Med. Center.

She was born August 3, 1956 in New Hanover County daughter of the late Woody and Kitty Brown Watson.

Debra loved her pets and had many cats and dogs over the years. She had a big heart and she never met a stranger. She would joke about having the gift of gab. Debra loved shopping, enjoyed watching TV and loved her neighbors, and friend and care giver Stacy Carr, and friend Christine Riggs and children, Garrett, Victoria and Waylon.

A celebration of her life will be at 11:00 am Wednesday December 3, 2025 at Harrell's Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Matthew Hancock will officiate.
