Deborah Faye McKoy Cramer, age 69 of Rocky Point, passed peacefully Tuesday February 21, 2023 at Lower Cape Fear Life Care.

She was born September 27, 1953 in New Hanover County, daughter of the late Charles Herbert and Rochelle Lloyd McKoy.

After Deborah graduated from New Hanover High School in 1971, she married Robert D. Cramer and went on to study surgical technology. While going to college she started a family and traveled around the world being an Army wife supporting the military and raising her children and working for AAFES.

In 1992, Deborah moved back to Burgaw, NC after life with the military ended, and worked until becoming disabled. She had many hobbies after that but her love of animals was her biggest.

Deborah was predeceased by her mother, Rochelle L. McKoy and father, Charles H. McKoy and infant brother, Charles E. McKoy.

She is survived by her longtime partner, JR Gladstone of Rocky Point; daughter, Sabrina L. Cramer of Willard; son, Robert M. Cramer (Heather) of Willard; grandchildren, Marcus R. Cramer (Kaylie), Hayley Spivey (Stephen), and Emaley Swinson (Cameron); great grandchildren, Zarya Cramer, Bellamy Cramer, and Aliyah Cramer.

A memorial gathering of family and friends will be at 10:30 AM Saturday February 25, 2023 at Harrell's Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made (in Deborah's name) to Lower Cape Fear Life Care who cared for her in her last days.
