Dawn Marchesani, born August 3, 1962, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was a lifelong resident of Harrison, New York, before moving to Burgaw.

Dawn was a strong and vibrant woman whose bold personality, determination, and deep love for her family touched the lives of all who knew her. An avid animal lover, she had a special place in her heart for animals of all kinds. Above all, her grandchildren were her greatest blessing and brought her immense joy and pride.

Dawn was predeceased by her parents, David and Marion Brissett, and her sister, Jane Fox.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Mark Marchesani; her children, David Knapp (Dana) and their children David and Dominick; Deanna Burger (Michael) and their children Raelynn and Elaina; Michelle Brissett and her son Grayson Carosi; and Rachael Brissett-McClure (Kenny).

She is also survived by her husband's children, Mark Marchesani (Stephanie) and their son Michael; Daniel Marchesani (Kerrianne) and their daughter Isabel; and Jenny Pappas (James) and their son Ryan.

Dawn is also survived by her sisters, Susan Burrows (H. Duval) and Kim Barbieri and son Jason, along with many cousins, family members and dear friends who will cherish her memory.

Funeral services and burial will be in Mamaroneck, NY
