Charles Henry "Chuck" Button, age 76 of Burgaw, passed peacefully Thursday September 12, 2024 at home.

He was born July 18, 1948 in Pennsylvania.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Frances Button; daughter, Lyn Lanier and husband Jae of Wilmington; two granddaughters, Reagan Lanier and Katie Mills; two grandsons, Joey Button and Liam Button; sister in law, Teresa Coleman; nieces, Terri Middleton and husband Kevin and Christine Craig  ; and great nieces, Rylie and Ashton Middleton.

He was predeceased by his son, Brian "BJ" Button.

Chuck was a veteran of the United States Army serving honorably in Vietnam.

He was known as the "Honey Man" and was a certified Master Bee Keeper selling honey under Button Farms. Chuck enjoyed being outdoors, loved to read and was a lifelong learner. He enjoyed puzzles of all kinds. Chuck was a quiet man but loved to meet people and interact with customers.

A memorial service will be at 11:00 AM Saturday September 21, 2024 at Harrell's Funeral Home Chapel. Monsignor Joseph will officiate and the United States Army will accord military honors. The family will receive friends after the service.
