Charles Braxton Williamson, age 81 of Rocky Point, passed peacefully Tuesday April 15, 2025 at Novant New Hanover Reg. Med. Center surrounded by his loving family.

He was born October 25, 1943 in Robeson County, son of the late Andrew and Iva Hayes Williamson.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sue Ellen Deal Williamson; three sons, Andrew Williamson of SC, Chris Williamson of Rocky Point, and Mark Williamson and wife Alecia of Burgaw; daughter, Beth Williamson-Mills and husband Adam of Burgaw; five grandchildren, Colt Williamson (Dani), Foster Williamson, Cam Mills, Sophie Williamson, and Casey Mills; and many nieces and nephews.

Charles was a teacher, builder and excellent craftsman and so many people in NC have a piece of his art. He always had a smile and loved people. Charles was very community oriented and he spent countless hours giving to others. He loved karaoke and was well known for his singing ability and performances.

The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 PM Friday April 18, 2025 at Harrell's Funeral Home. Burial will be announced as soon as plans are finalized.
